Due to the nature of the services we provide, our records contain nonpublic personal information you provide to us. Your application and/or other forms contain your name, address, telephone numbers, employer information and financial information relating to income, expenses and indebtedness. Enrollees’ creditors frequently provide additional information about your transactions with them, such as account balances and payment history.
Information We May Disclose and To Whom:
It is our policy that we may disclose any or all of the nonpublic personal information described above, as permitted by law, to lawful requests from law enforcement and regulatory agencies and authorities. Information you provide with regard to each specific creditor will only be shared with that specific creditor. These disclosures of nonpublic personal information are permitted by exception.
Protecting Confidentiality and Security of Nonpublic Personal Information:
Town and Country Acceptance Corporation restricts access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees whom we determine have a legitimate business purpose to access such information. We maintain security techniques that are designed to protect applicant, current customer and former customer data. We also educate our employees about the meaning and requirements for data security and confidentiality. Additionally, policies are in place and maintained to prevent identity theft.
